A sunny weekend in Germany - Halle

Last weekend we spent in Germany to celebrate the wedding of two of our friends. Besides the big party we also used the time to explore a bit of our home country ;) We travelled from Berlin to Halle/Saale (about 180km South of the German capital) and were hugely impressed by the city - below are some impressions from our little walk around. There is a dome which and also quite a few cathedrals, all within walking distance. On the weekend, the city also hosted the Haendel Festival and you could hear the artists music in many places across the city.
