London Westend - a Sunday in August

On the last Sunday in August, I went into Central London to shoot a few photos of some of the most iconic Westend Theatres. The streets were not completely empty but I cannot say they were busy. It seems there are currently many more people out and about in the suburban towns than in the centre of London.

It was a strange feeling of excitement to see London again after months not wanting to visit the centre, combined with a feeling of sadness to see these venues shut and empty. I played a lot with the editing tools and it took a while to create the below as I wanted to reflect the atmosphere as much as possible.
